A conversation with a person

Let's talk benefits.

Thirty minutes: your plans, your crews, and how a pilot with one group would run.

No mailing list. A person replies.

For brokers

Your clients' benefits expert. With your name on it.

You design each client's benefits. Roscoe makes them understood: a digital expert on that client's own plan, answering their people at any hour, in the app or on WhatsApp, from the documents you placed, with your name beside Roscoe's. You stay the adviser.

What your client gets

Not a benefits FAQ. Their plan, explained.

Each client's people are answered from the plan you placed for that client, and reminded of the arrangements you negotiated into it.

  • Answers from that client's documents

Their insurer, their table of benefits, their limits. Roscoe cites the page, so anyone can check it.

  • Says when it isn't sure

When the wording doesn't settle it, Roscoe says so and tells them who to ask. It never recommends a plan. Before a plan goes live, HR checks Roscoe's answers and signs them off.

  • Every line you placed

Medical, dental, vision, life and disability, international medical, the EAP. An EAP or wellbeing service outside the policy is added as its own plan and answered the same way.

  • Your arrangements, used

The virtual GP, counselling, the dental check-up: Roscoe reminds people what their plan gives them, timed to when they're home, and points to the insurer's own directory before anyone books.

  • In their language

Voice notes are understood in 14 languages, and Roscoe replies in English, Spanish or Portuguese, on WhatsApp or in the app.

  • Evidence for the renewal

HR's Value report shows which benefits people used after a reminder: counts of five or more, never who.

What you get

Your name beside Roscoe's.

Today

Hi, I'm Roscoe. Ask me anything about Mesa Ridge Drilling's benefits: medical, dental, vision, life and disability. I answer from the plan documents and show you the page. Northstar set up these plans with you, and we're here for anything Roscoe can't answer.

Your brand, in the places that are yours

Your logo, your colour, your words.

For each client that agrees: your logo and colour beside Roscoe's in the apps and on the launch poster, your sentence after Roscoe's WhatsApp welcome, and your sign-off at the end of HR's Monday brief. The answers stay Roscoe's, checked against each client's documents the same way for everyone.

The welcome on WhatsApp, and the last line of HR's Monday brief: Roscoe's, then yours.

The launch poster, in your brand.

The poster HR prints for the mess room: your logo and colour, three questions to try, and the code that opens Roscoe. Made by the launch kit itself, for a fictional client. HR's Monday brief ends with your sign-off: "Roscoe for Mesa Ridge Drilling. With Northstar Benefits, your benefits broker."

  • Printed from HR's launch kit, A4 or Letter
  • The code opens Roscoe's sign-in
  • Only for clients that agree; their HR can turn it off

And your service, on the record

Every request complete, dated, in your mailbox.

Brokers never sign in. This is the email Roscoe sends a broker 120 days before a renewal, generated by the same code that sends the real one: only the policies, the insurer and the dates. Reply as you normally would, and each step is recorded on the employer's renewal plan, dated by your email.

Delivery recorded on the employer's renewal plan

Eight steps. Everyone knows the dates on day one.

Each step is dated back from the renewal and owned by one party. The employer sees the same plan, and a 90-day record of every duty you agreed, due and done. Good service stops being a matter of opinion.

What it costs you

Nothing.

The employer pays Roscoe a flat fee per employee, disclosed in full. Brokers and carriers pay nothing, Roscoe pays you nothing, and the fee never depends on what cover is placed, so nothing touches your remuneration or your disclosures.

Advice, placement and the carrier relationship stay with you; cover and claims decisions stay with the carrier. Roscoe sits on the employer's side and explains what was placed.

How to roll it out

A client live in a week.

The broker kit has the week day by day, the terms in plain words, and what to send the client.

  1. Day 1

    Your client says yes

To Roscoe, and to your name on it. We set up the employer, its plans and the route to your mailbox.

  2. Days 2 to 3

    The plan documents, checked

HR adds the documents you placed. Roscoe reads them, and HR checks Roscoe's answers to the questions people ask before anyone relies on them.

  3. Days 4 to 5

    The roster and the launch

HR imports the roster and runs the launch kit: the toolbox talk, the poster and the message, in your brand.

  4. From day 6

Questions answered, requests in your inbox

People ask Roscoe. Anything that needs you reaches your mailbox with a case reference and a due date.

Questions

Before you ask.

Anything else, ask us directly.

Can we offer Roscoe to our clients under our name?

Yes, with each client's agreement. Their people see your name, logo and colour beside Roscoe's ("Roscoe, with [your brokerage]") in the apps, your sentence in the WhatsApp welcome and your sign-off in the Monday brief. Your client still contracts with and pays Roscoe, Roscoe pays you nothing for it, and their HR can turn it off.

Is Roscoe giving advice to our clients' people?

No. Roscoe explains what the employer's plan says. It doesn't recommend cover, compare insurers for an employee, or decide claims. Advice stays with you.

Which insurers does it work with?

Any. Roscoe answers from the documents the insurer issues for each plan: the policy wording, the table of benefits, the member guide. It has no partnership with any insurer, and doesn't need one.

Do brokers need to log in?

No. Brokers never use Roscoe. Requests arrive in your mailbox and your replies are recorded from email, dated by when you sent them.

What do carriers receive?

Where an employer and carrier agree a route, administrative requests and claim submissions go to the carrier's own mailbox, with only the details the route needs and a case reference. Never a login, and never an employee's conversation.

How do brokers join the panel?

By invitation, for employers who ask us to introduce a specialist. We look for specialist benefits expertise, response times that stand up to a dated record, and transparent remuneration.

Specialist benefits broker?

Make your clients' benefits understood.

Bring Roscoe to a client under your name, or ask to be considered for the panel. Nothing to install: requests reach your mailbox, and your service is on the record.
